This article reviews ways to spice up the airplane food on long haul flights. Your food may taste better but the food is already loaded with sodium and with these spices it adds more sodium. On long haul flights you want to stay hydrated and if you consume too much sodium your jet lag will be worst. I stay away from airline foods on all flights and I bring my own food. I would suggest drink more water to fill you up as much as possible and pack your own food (fruits, veggies, and nuts) and wait until you land at your destination to eat.
