China is great for my lactose intolerant or dairy allergies. Each year that I get older the Lactose pills do not work as well and my doctor recommended I cut dairy all together. If I consume dairy then I immediately feel it in my stomach and must head to the bathroom and the pain is terrible. Mainland China does not use dairy products only in the Tibet region with the yak milk. It is awesome when I can enjoy meal at a restaurant and not worry about dairy products. In the US, I am constantly ordering my food without dairy which can be challenging at times because every restaurant makes their food slightly different. For example, butter is used in different places, some burger places will put it on the bun, some steaks will be brushed with butter, and some tomato pasta dishes may use butter for added flavor. The safest place for me in Las Vegas is at a Chinese restaurant or at home.
