A good time to fly!
These days of flying are gone (70's era flying, see link below) but I wish they would comeback in full circle. I find myself dressing up more and more as I fly and I like it. Recently in the news with all the passengers fighting each other about reclining seats we all need to relax. This era is gone but I enjoy flying on Chinese airlines when I travel to China with excellent service all around, I mean with stewardess, check in process, customer service on the phone, baggage handling and gate check in process. The Chinese airlines got it right and when you fly domestically in China you get a very good food on short flights and if there are delays they will provide water and food in the gate area. On the long flights overseas they offer lots of water and juice throughout the flight and always cleaning the toilets. The in-laws made it from China to the US on their own but had lots of help from friendly passengers from China, help filling out the forms, assisting to terminal and gate location. If you are traveling to China I would highly recommend Air China Airlines and it is a great way into the China culture before landing in China. The Mid-Autumn Festival is September 8th this year and a busy one for my in-laws who will be heading to the US on September 11th 2014. It is the start of fall season of holidays from September through October which is one of the busy times for travel. It is a great time of the season with cooler temperatures but can be crowded especially during the October Holiday from 1st to 10th. In the meantime enjoy your moon cakes! My favorite is the red bean with pine nuts. Travel safe and smart. |
